Position OverviewHuitong School is developing the leaders of tomorrow with the skill sets to change the world. Our students will have the support of a Chinese Language Teacher to develop deep local roots and engage in their own culture while learning the language skills to function globally. To ensure strong student ties to their home culture, each campus will operate as a dual-language school (the home language and English). The Chinese Language and Literature Teacher will help all students to develop a level of written and oral fluency that will allow them to work and study in another culture. Master’s level degree or above in content area preferred ? Native Mandarin proficiency required? Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an independent school environment ? Participates in professional learning communities, grade-level teams, and other collaborative communities to design and plan instructions, to improve practice, and to achieve student outcomes ? Drive and energy to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment? Holds Teaching License and certification to teach as a subject specialist in this area
